Description/Dimensions: Attributed to Dave. Between 6 & 7
gallons. 15" tall & 45" circumference. Marked with 2 incised X's. Has
a green alkaline glaze and on one side the glaze is thin either from
under firing or being on the ground for an extended period of time.
Damage/Repairs: Hairline crack about 7 or 8 in long but is
tight and the jar rings when you tap it. One handle has a very small
chip as pictured. |

ridge". Looks very much like a "Dave" handle with a little groove like
mark down the middle of the strap handle. Also the finger print at the
bottom of the handle. Excellent heavy glaze. 11" tall.
Damage/Repairs: Small chip & two chigger bits under the rim.
