Description/Dimensions: Guaranteed to be Edgefield. The signature mark looks like a cursive S or a D. 8 1/2" tall. Opening is 6" across. Base is 8" across.
Damage/Repairs: One handle is missing and it has some serious hairlines. Also some chips on the rim. Most serious hairline runs most of the way down one side then across the bottom and a little ways up the other side. One stars near the signature near the top that runs down a few inches. It also has a couple of tight horizontal ones near the base.
Description/Dimensions: First critical review of Dave's cryptic poetry, with interpretations for all the known poems. North Georgia Literary & Folk Art Society, March 2001. 8 1/2" x 11", 76 pages, illustrated with 19 color plates by the author.
Description/Dimensions: Clabber bowl has one handle. It is with out a doubt Baynham before the pottery operation was moved to North Augusta, SC.
Damage/Repairs: Perfect condition.
Description/Dimensions: This is a special printing of one of my illustrations for "Dave's Poems/The Poetry of Enslaved African-American Poet, David Drake." This print is larger than those reproduced in the book and is signed and inscribed with Dave's poem which inspired this work: "I made this jar all of cross/if you don't repent you will be lost." Printed on an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of 110 lb stock, the image is c. 5" x 6".
Description/Dimensions: This is a special printing of one of my illustrations for "Dave's Poems/The Poetry of Enslaved African-American Poet, David Drak." This print is larger than those reproduced in the book and is signed and inscribed with Dave's poem which inspired this work: "Good for lard or holding fresh meats/blest we were when Peter saw the folded sheets." Printed on an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of 110 lb stock, the image is c. 5" x 6".
Description/Dimensions: This is a 1/2 gallon Edgefield jug. It is signed W. F. Hahn, Trenton, SC. This is a beautiful piece of Edgefield pottery and it's size is hard to find. It is 8" tall and 20" in circumference. An awesome alkaline glaze and in excellent condition. The S in the SC wasn't stamped deep enough but you can see where the mark is.
Damage/Repairs: The only flaw in this piece is a small hairline crack that is in the shape of a semi-circle on the spout. It is so small that the entire line is only 1" in length.
Description/Dimensions: This North Augusta, South Carolina albany slip glazed 1/2 jug is brown on the body and the shoulder, neck and handle is a reddish brown. It is stamped "STANDARD SYRUP CO" at the top of the body. I have seen many jugs of this coloration dug in Augusta and North Augusta but not with this company marking (obviously a contract piece).
Damage/Repairs: Chip on the bottom edge the size of a thumb nail and one at the top of the body about twice that size. There are a few minor nicks around the lip. No cracks and no repairs.

Description/Dimensions: Here is a great piece of South Carolina stoneware. 8 1/2" tall and is in excellent condition. Nice alkaline glaze. Single strap handle. Great small size. It's unsigned but looks like a Hahn piece to me.
Damage/Repairs: It has no chips, cracks, or repairs.
